it's ok- you can still go for a NYD run, porty parkrun is holding a special new years day edition.

  •  turn up
  •  run
  •  get bar code scanned 
  •  get result emailed to you or texted to you within a few  hours.
  •  go home after watching promathon & feel like you have  started the new year with a BANG!

christmas charity run

lovely castle run tonight with mince pies, 'home made' stollen & non alchoholic mulled wine for afters. Funds raised for face charity.

do you get your 150 a week?

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who runs or leads with us for making a real difference! Apparently Scots are more likely than those in any other part of the UK to hit the Government target of 150 minutes of physical activity every week!

It's fantastic to see this positive news - makes a change from all the horror stories we hear about the health of Scots. We're sure jogscotland has played a part in that, so well done to you all for being part of the good news.

So Tuesday 15th December at 7pm will be a Christmas theme with all runners with hats ,lights & smiley faces. ALL WELCOME

Andrew has come up with a great idea and is going to take a charity run on 
Tuesday 15th December.
 He will charge £2 each which will go to charity.
 All runners should dress up in bright colours for Xmas and 
wear Santa hats if you have one. 
It’s all for charity and a good bit of fun if you are free.


All monies going to FACE 'Fight Against Cancer Edinburgh'.

 The route will be between 6-7km max . & weather dependant.
Mince pies & Mulled wine after.
